Barbara Ann “Bambi” Moore passed away quietly and peacefully on April 5, 2021 at her home. Barbara was a proud alumna of Binghamton Central High School (1951) and Keuka College (1955). She was an enthusiastic member of local senior organizations, including Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Post 2332, Johnson City, and The Marine Corps League Auxiliary, Baldwin Street, Johnson City. She was a lifelong supporter of The Humane Society. Barbara was previously a Social Worker at the Broome County Department of Social Services, where she worked with clients around the Southern Tier and in Northern Pennsylvania. She lived a long and fun-filled life. Barbara was a longtime NY Mets enthusiast, went on several ocean cruises, and loved summer camping in Chenango Forks. Barbara was predeceased by her father Hugh T. Beckwith; mother Louella Gibson Beckwith; brother Russell Beckwith. She is survived by her loving family: son Michael Moore; daughter and son in law Patricia Moore (Robert) Potochniak; grandchildren Michael Marini, Kayla Potochniak (Christopher) Wilson; Matthew Potochniak; great grandchildren Savannah Wilson and Carson Wilson. The family would like to thank the Lourdes Hospice staff for their professional expertise and caring kindness. We are grateful. There will be a private family burial.
