Daniel Stephen Pokorak was born November 2nd, 1980 and lived a hard and beautiful life until June 12th, 2021. If you knew Dan, you received the unconventional experience of being embraced by a Tyrant, Adored by an angel, and touched by a Magician. He was a gifted singer-songwriter loved by so many, and he left a lasting impact on the Binghamton music scene and those who knew him. We find it easy to remember the little things he said and did that made us feel his special brand of love, and his music and prose will live on. Dan is survived by his mother Denise, his father Mark, and his sister Lindsay. Calling hours will be from 2-5pm on Saturday, June 19th, at the Barber Memorial Home, 428 Main Street, Johnson City. There will be a celebration of life afterwards at the Belmar Pub, 95 Main Street, Binghamton: bring your instruments, voice, poems, and stories.
