Dave was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, and camping with friends and family. Kayaking was also passion of his. Dave always had a story to tell (in great detail) or a joke. Dave was affectionally known as “Grandpaw Dave” to his grand-dog, Judge. He loved taking him for hikes in the woods and playing in the creek. Dave was a great cook and liked to barbeque all year, he was well known for his assorted homemade wines. Dave liked to build things and was very creative given his background in carpentry. He loved music and writing his own songs on his guitar. When Dave wasn’t cooking or in the woods, he enjoyed taking road trips with family and sometimes just going for a joy ride by himself. Dave was a man who valued time with his family and close friends. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Following Dave’s wishes, there will be no visitation and a private burial.
