Deborah Cline Solak of Johnson City, NY and Daytona Beach, Fla. Passed away on November 13, 2020 with her Daughters Samantha and Sabrina by her side. Ironically, Friday the 13th was always her favorite day. Born on 2/7/1953 the 2nd child of John Cline III and Louise Cline (Gagoian). Debby graduated from Binghamton Central High School, SUNY Broome and SUNY Cortland with a degree in Speech Therapy. Shortly after graduating from college, Debby moved to Orlando, Fla. with High School friends Patty Knapp and Patrick Fiorelli. Their friendship has lasted a lifetime. Debby worked for Disney World in Fla. and returned to Binghamton where she continued to work in hospitality, transitioning to retail until her retirement. People always commented on her vivacious, warm, funny and beautiful personality and how she lit up a room. She glowed. Debby raised her family in Binghamton and when it was almost time to retire, moved back to the Fla. sunshine. This fall, she came back to be with her family. We are so very fortunate to have had this time with her. Debby was predeceased by her Father, Grandparents, Uncles, a sister in law and a Cousin. She is survived by her Daughters Samantha Solak and Sabrina Cline Fla., Mother, Louise Cline, Siblings, Kathleen Piza (Peter), John Cline IV(Janis), James Cline and their families. Debby chose to be cremated and wanted only a private family gathering with no wake or calling hours. Remember her warm greeting, wonderful smile and the way she always made you feel better. She will be deeply missed. Donations in her memory may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Arrangements were by the Barber Memorial Home in Johnson City, NY.
