Obituary

Donald Smith, 56, passed away at Wilson Memorial Hospital on April 22, 2022 after a brief illness.  He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jennifer, his children Crystal, Angela, Roeslynn, Myra and DJ, and his grandchildren.  He is also survived by his mother Donna and his siblings.  Don had a great fondness for nature and the outdoors as well as enjoying decorating for the different seasons and holidays, he also loved to cook.  Never one to be still for very long, Don, was always doing something, whether it be helping his family and friends with a project or giving someone a ride somewhere.  Don will be remembered for always having a smile for everyone and cracking a joke or two.  His love for his family and friends will be greatly missed.  The family has decided to have a Memorial Service at Greenwood Park, pavilion 4, on June 11th starting at 11:00am.  We will spend that time together remembering Don's life.  Please bring a dish to pass and if you're not comfortable sitting on picnic benches you are welcome to bring your own chair.
