John J. Dino, 59 passed away unexpectedly Saturday January 30, 2021. He was predeceased by his father, Elmer James Dino; sister, Danette Dino Murphy; brother-in-law, Martin J. Stack; father-in-law, Charles Bogdan. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 39 years, Ruth (Bogdan) Dino; his children, Jonathan Dino, Endwell NY; Timothy (Lindsey) Dino; Conover, OH; Spencer Dino, Endwell NY; his cherished granddaughters, Hailey Grace Dino and Madison Lee Dino and awaiting Lennon Dino. His mother, Barbara Dino, his sisters, Debora Dino (Chris Leach); Denise (Joseph) Battaglini; Stacey Stack; Leslie (Michael) Tzivanis, his brother, Eric (Melissa) Dino, his mother-in-law, Margaret Bogdan, and brothers-in-law, David (Karen) Bogdan, and Robert (Linda) Bogdan. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. John graduated from Union-Endicott HS, class of 1979 and Broome Community College. John and Ruth owned and operated Waterloo Wine & Spirits for 8 years. He then went on to become a Sergeant at the Seneca County Correctional Facility. After returning to Endwell, NY in 2017, they purchased his childhood home and John was working as a Market Sales Leader for Bimbo Bakeries. John was a proud father, grandfather, brother, and friend. John enjoyed golf, supporting his sons’ motocross racing, announcing his sons’ football games and refereeing basketball games. John loved music and was a great dancer, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and his dog JoJo. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. There will be a private service at the family’s convenience.
