The Lord has called a great woman to come sit beside Him. June N. Wolff, 87, who recently moved from Vestal to Good Shepherd Village, Endwell, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Lourdes Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard J. Wolff, of 64 years, her parents, Frances and Patsy Navaretta, brother and sister-in-law Vince and Sylvia Navaretta, brother and sister-in-law Fred (Kip) and Edith Navaretta, brother Patsy Navaretta, Jr, and grandson Michael Wolff. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Bruce and Teri Wolff, daughter and son-in-law Janice and James Rea, grandson Brian Wolff and nieces and nephews. June graduated from Nott Terrace High School in Schenectady, NY. After many years of being a devoted, stay-at-home mother for her children, June worked for Grants Department Store, the Vestal School district in the cafeteria, and IBM Endicott and Owego. She was a member of Union Presbyterian Church in Endicott, NY, where she served as deacon and helped out with other church activities. In her younger days, June enjoyed cooking, traveling, shopping, crafting, sewing and activities with her children. Later in life, she enjoyed watching TV, going to Tioga Downs, shopping, going out to eat, but especially loved spending time with her family. She was very proud of her grandson, Brian, in his musical career and rarely missed an opportunity to attend his performances. Calling hours will be on Monday, July 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Barber Memorial Home, Inc, 428 Main Street, Johnson City, NY, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 1:00 p.m. at Barber Memorial Home, Inc. Burial will follow at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Funeral services will be held at Union Presbyterian Church, 200 E Main St, Endicott, on August 6 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to BC Humane Society, 167 Conklin Ave, Binghamton, NY 13903, Union Presbyterian Church, 200 E. Main St, Endicott, NY 13760, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
