We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Barber Memorial Home, Inc.
Phyllis Brunges quietly left us on September 13, 2022 at the age of 93 and is now reunited with her husband, Glenn Brunges, who predeceased her in 2016. Her parents (William and Estelle Pascoe), infant son, siblings (David, Lenore, Myrtle and William) and nephews (Harold and Jeff) all predeceased her. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Cathy and Bob Harlec; her grandchildren Adam (Erica) Harlec and Jessica (Tyler) Santos; her great grandchildren Reed, Rhett, Willow and Brooks as well as brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She married the love of her life, Glenn Brunges, in 1951 and they lived in Centermoreland, PA until moving to Johnson City in 1964. She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother and sister who took great pride in her family and home. Her family extends a heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff at Elizabeth Church Manor for their care and support. In honoring Phyllis’s wishes services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that anyone who was impacted by Phyllis’s life send a card or perform an act of kindness for someone in need.
