Obituary
Sharon (Sherry) Putman, 81, of Johnson City went to be with her Lord on Sunday January 15, 2023 at Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents William and Florence Lindsay, brother William, sisters Joan and Florence. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years James Putman; her children Joan (Mark) Newman, Dawn (Judy) Putman, James (Patricia) Putman; sister Linda (Robert) Wiley; brother in law Ken Mix; grandchildren Lindsay & Ryan, Kristine & Jon, Ashlee, Kaitlyn, Corinna; great grandchildren James Ryan, Aksel, Everly; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a loving wife, mother and an amazing grandmother and great grandmother. She retired from the Johnson City School District. She loved to travel. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11am at the Barber Memorial Home 428 Main Street Johnson City. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4-7pm at the Barber Memorial Home. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Boulevard United Methodist Church 113 Grand Boulevard Binghamton NY 13905
